For more than 60 years, Dunkin' Donuts has been a leader in the donut category, selling 1.9 billion donuts and MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats every day. Within the United States, Dunkin’ Donuts offers more than 70 varieties of donuts, including beloved flavors such as Boston Kreme, Glazed and Chocolate Frosted.
In May, Dunkin' Donuts introduced new donuts inspired by Men In Black 3. These include the Undercover Black Cocoa Donut, a star shaped yeast donut filled with brownie batter butter creme and topped with chocolate icing and star sprinkles, and the Chocolate Lunarmax Donut, a glazed chocolate cake donut with rich chocolate icing drizzle and star sprinkles. All Men In Black 3-inspired donuts are available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

Drop By Dunkin' Donuts in February for Heart-Shaped Donuts
I stopped by my local Dunkin' Donuts the other day and saw they had a bevy of pretty, heart-shaped donuts. Well, duh! It’s February and Valentine’s Day is around the corner which means the Cupid’s Choice Donut has returned to Dunkin' Donuts. New this year is the Chocolate Heart Donut.
Cupid's Choice is super pretty – the heart-shaped donut is topped with strawberry icing donned with pink, white and red heart-shaped sprinkles and filled with Bavarian Kreme. The Chocolate Heart Donut is a chocolate frosted heart-shaped donut with vanilla buttercreme filling, topped with chocolate chips. Mmm, mmm.
These sweets are a perfect way to show you affection for your spouse, family member, significant other, friend or co-worker.What the heck, you deserve something yummy, pick one up for yourself.
Lucky you, Tallahassee! You have two Dunkin' Donuts options and be sure to visit before the end of February for your heart-shaped donuts!

She Would Say Whaaat? "Say Anything" by North Star Games, A Fab Party Game
Honestly, I was a little skeptical if a game not produced by toy making machines such as Hasbro or Milton Bradley would be any good but after putting North Star Games' "Say Anything," I can in good faith say this game is FUN!
How to Play Say Anything
Basically, a question is read by one player (the judge) and the other players write down what they think the judge would say. Then, the judge secretly selects their favorite response while everyone votes with the two chips they have on the answer they believe the judge will choose. Points are awarded for the person who has the response the judge selected and to those who also selected it.
It's really not that complicated and as you can imagine, as the night progresses and players get a little punchy, the sillier the responses.
Why Say Anything?
Say Anything will get people talking pretty quickly after the game begins and that's what makes a party, right? It's also an opportunity to learn about your friends, family members and potential love interests *wink*wink*.
It's also a quality game and has won several awards. It's available from Barnes & Noble, Toys "R" Us and Target.
Find North Star Games on Facebook and between now and Monday, Nov. 21, 2011,check out Say Anything and enter to win an iPad.
Also, be sure to check out this video on how to play "Say Anything."
Disclosure: North Star Games sent me games to review but opinions are my own.

Urban Outfitters Store on Tour Visiting Tallahassee Oct. 17 - Oct. 20, 2011
Here's some fab news, Urban Outfitters will be setting up a nomadic shop in Tallahassee. Appropriately called "Urban Outfitters Store on Tour," the mobile boutique will be open Monday, Oct. 17 through Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, between noon and 8 p.m. at the corner of East College Avenue and South Duval Street.
Shoppers will find typical Urban Outfitters apparel from the Fall 2011 collection for men and women along with accessories, bags, electronics and home items. I'm told there will be a something special for those Seminoles fans.
What I think is very cool about the Store on Tour is it's made from two, 20’ x 8’ used shipping containers. And, Tallahassee is the third city of a four-city tour this October. Of course, the fact Tallahassee is getting a taste of Urban Outfitters is pretty dang awesome. It has a Bohemian, trendy, edgy and chic vibe. If you've never shopped one, chances are once you do, you're a customer for life.
But wait, there's more than groovy Urban Outfitters apparel and accessories coming along!
DRY Soda, an all-natural, less sweet, four ingredient soda, and Tortoise & Blonde, a family owned eyewear company are joining the Urban Outfitters Store on Tour caravan. DRY Soda will be sampling and selling bottles of their all-natural soda. I'm not sure which flavors they'll be bringing but flavors they produce include cucumber, juniper berry and lavender (Yum!). Tortoise & Blonde is bringing along their collection of glasses for shoppers to try and purchase.
Dockers® has also joined the Store on Tour with a mobile art gallery featuring art made using Dockers® new 'Alpha' Khaki material.

Rev Up and Chill Out at New Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Store in Tallahassee

A little bird told me Tallahasseans have a new place to either get their morning cup of joe to rev up or escape the summer heat and chill out. It’s Dunkin Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Store which held its grand opening last month at the I-10 and Thomasville exchange. (3434 Thomasville Rd.)
This new Tallahassee location is open between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. seven days a week and is complemented by a tasty menu created by Dunkin’ Brand’s culinary team, including Dunkin’ Donuts’ high-quality, great-tasting menu items that can be enjoyed all day, including old favorites such as a wide variety of hot and iced coffee, lattes and cappuccino to new menu products such as new Stuffed Breadsticks, Warm Apple Pie and Mountain Dew Coolatta.
A refreshing treat for a hot and steamy Florida summer day is Dunkin’ Donuts’ Frozen Hot Chocolate, available for a limited time at participating shops. Yeah, I know it sounds weird but it has the rich chocolate flavor of hot cocoa but is refreshingly frozen and cold. It’s simply delish and great escape from the heat!
In addition to new Frozen Hot Chocolate, also available for a limited time at select Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout Southeast, are Frozen Iced Tea and Frozen Lemonade.
Of course, the bite-size goodness of MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats are STILL available.
Need to get your ice cream fix? The Baskin-Robbins side will satisfy cravings with the best-in-class ice cream flavors including a “Flavor of the Month.” Celebrating Captain America, this July’s flavor is “Super-Soldier Swirl,” blue chips and cherry-flavored ribbon swirled into creamy vanilla ice cream.
In addition to a new "Flavor of the Month," Baskin-Robbins offers premium Soft Serve products, frozen beverages, including 31° Below™: Baskin-Robbins Soft Serve blended together with delicious candies and toppings. Flavors include Butterfinger®, Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cup, M&M’s®, Snickers®, Oreo® and Heath®.
The new Tallahassee Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Store is good for the local economy because it’s employing about 30 to 40 crew members. The restaurant also features a drive-thru window for those of you on the go.

Guest Post: RV to Tallahassee-Three Reasons to Go

Hey, y'all. Tallahassee is still on my mind. Enjoy this guest post...
Have you been tempted to make a trek to Tallahassee? Pack the RV and get moving! There are hundreds of reasons to go RV camping to Tallahassee. We've picked our top three to share.
Five Hundred Years of History!
Florida's capitol draws history-loving RVers year-round, thanks to historical sites that harken back five hundred years. Mission San Luis, for example, a national historic landmark just two miles from Florida's historic State Capitol Building, is a living history adventure offering a taste of 1600's Spanish and Apalachee Indian culture.
To understand the enormous contribution of African Americans to the Florida Panhandle, be sure to visit the John Gilmore Riley Center/Museum of African American History & Culture. Civil War buffs also won't want to miss the Natural Bridge Battlefield State Historic Park, where one of the last battles of the Civil War saw Tallahassee saved from Union capture.
Tallahassee's Outdoor Attractions
The lush beauty of Tallahassee is showcased in several outdoor attractions worth any RVers interest. Maclay Gardens State Park offers two lakes, miles of hiking and biking trails and hundreds of acres of beautifully-landscaped green space. Another enormously popular outdoor attraction just outside Tallahassee is Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park. Take a ride on a glass-bottomed boat to explore one of the world's largest freshwater springs. You can also swim, hike the nature trails and photograph the Springs' abundant wildlife.
And the biggest reason of all that active RV camping fans come to Tallahassee is Apalachicola National Forest on the outskirts of town. Five developed areas with campgrounds make coming to this half-million acre pine forest easy. Three small lakes within the park's boundaries present plenty of boating, fishing and swimming possibilities. Serious hikers will want to explore at least a short section of the Florida National Scenic Trail that runs through the park.
Just north of Apalachicola National Forest, Lake Talquin State Park is a favorite with anglers. Hit the bright blue waters of this lake nestled in the pine-covered hills for some of the best largemouth bass fishing in the Panhandle.From QKG's Tallahassee Blog
Tallahassee's Stellar RV Campgrounds
The Florida capitol knows how to welcome RV campers! From National Forest campgrounds in amazingly scenic settings to urban campgrounds close to the action, Tallahassee RV parks fit every kind of camper.
Big Oak RV Park, for example, has every modern amenity including wireless internet, a post office and free cable television. Tallahassee RV Park offers quiet camping in a lush, green setting. CampFlorida.com is a great place to start when planning your RV campground reservations.
It's definitely time to make tracks to Tallahassee! Comfortable RV parks, plenty of historic sites to explore and a wealth of outdoor wonderlands make this Florida Panhandle city one of our top picks for RV camping.

Oh My, Tallahassee. You're Getting Swanky.
Earlier this summer I had a whirlwind business trip to Tallahassee and while some things seemed the same, I could see other things are moving forward in Florida's capital city. I left two years ago in May and hadn't been back until August of this year.
I managed to stop at Barb's Southern Style Gourmet Brittles to check out the new flavor and grab some gourmet peanut brittle to bring back along with some homemade ice cream to enjoy while walking Lake Ella. The selections have expanded so much that they spill into two cabinets! (pictured below)
I also enjoyed a relaxing paddle down the Wakulla River with The Wilderness Way where we (other conference attendees) viewed birds, turtles and even manatees. There was a slight fog when we began and it burned out as the morning progressed. Spider webs tucked in the riverside weeds were jeweled with drops of dew glistening in the morning sun. Hearing the snort of a manatee while paddling the quiet river was a bit frightening when not knowing what it was but after seeing the manatee's tracker bobbing in the water, realized it was one of those awesomely cool moments.
While happy to visit my favorite hangouts, was super excited for the hotel. Walking into Hotel Duval, I couldn't believe this was Tallahassee. Whoa! Pretty swanky, my friends, and in a good way. Check out my review of Hotel Duval here.
In short, it's hip, cool and chic. Be sure to check out Level 8, the bar. Appears to be the place to be seen in Tallahassee and offers a sweet view of Florida's capital. When staying in Tallahassee again, I'd definitely stay there.

Hey, Mon! It’s the Easy Star All-Stars, April 13 at Engine Room
Check this out, recording artists Easy Star All-Stars will be making a stop in Tallahassee on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Engine Room (809 Railroad Ave.; Tel: 850-222-8090). This is one of three Florida appearances on the group’s Spring Tour 2010 (April 10 is Ybor City and April 12 is Orlando) which includes international dates, so feel lucky Tallahassee.
These are the days when I wished I lived in Tallahassee because honestly, the music scene is livelier than in my new community in Southwest Florida (which a Miami Herald columnists compared to Del Boca Vista of Seinfeld fame). Anyway…
Here are quick deets on Easy Star All-Stars and their April 13 Tallahassee appearance:
- They put a fresh, reggae spin on pop and rock classics;
- The group's 2003 album, Dub Side of the Moon, was a reggae re-vision of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and sold 90,000 copies, making it one of the most successful reggae albums of the 21st century;
- They're so cool that even "The Mouse" is interested. With a release date of June 8, 2010, Easy Star All-Stars is one of several reggae artists on the CD by Walt Disney Records called The Disney Reggae Club. Easy Star All-Stars sing a remake of “Ev'rybody Wants to be a Cat (from the animated flick, The Aristocats). Other artists on the album include UB40 and Ziggy Marley. They're definitely in good company;
- While I haven't seen the band perform in person, I’ve checked out some of their videos and they just look like fun;
- Spiritual Rez, the reggae-funk band will open for the headliners;
- Admission for the event is $12. Purchase your tickets in advance online here.
Check out their music on the Easy Star All-Stars MySpace page or website.
Now go be jammin’ April 13 with Easy Star All-Stars!

Hey Tallahassee. Listen Up. Local Roller Derby Girl Needs Your Help
Cancer sucks. Thankfully, I don't have the illness but unfortunately, Tallahassee Rollergirl Stephanie who skates under the name 'Danger S', was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical cancer in Oct. 2009 and it's spread around her spine and most of her lymph nodes are affected. She doesn't have insurance and has a long road ahead.
The Tallahassee Rollergirls are raising money by going "topless" for Danger S - the tops of their heads, that is. Of course, this will only happen if specific funds are raised. And you have until about January 30, 2010, to make your donation, because that's chopping day at Railroad Square.
Learn more about the event and Stephanie's story on the "Spread the Love" blog.
I'll be making my donation once payday comes. And my connection to the Tallahassee Rollergirls? After seeing that amazing group of women skate, I was inspired to give the sport a try and skate with the Bradentucky Bombers Roller Derby League (when I can make practice!).
So who's in to support Danger S and raise awareness for cervical cancer?

This Girl Gives AXE Hair Care an "A"
AXE Hair rolled into Tallahassee this September with the Crisis Relief Center. Did you have a chance to go? I couldn't make the trip from my digs in Southwest Florida to see how Seminole and Tallahassee guys were getting tips on how to get girl approved hair. So, the good people with AXE Hair sent me several products for the guy I was then dating to try and give my approval.
The guy works in television but unfortunately around the same time the AXE Hair products arrived, he lost his reporting job and begrudgingly tried the AXE Just Clean Shampoo, AXE Just Soft Conditioner, and AXE Clean-Cut Look Pomade. I say begrudgingly because he was in the feeling sorry for himself mode saying since he wasn't in front of a camera anymore there was no need to style his hair. Boo, hoo!
Soon after using the product I noticed although he was using the AXE Pomade his hair felt soft yet looked manageable. It wasn't clumpy but seemed to stay in place and smell "hot," you know, really sexy. Soon Mr. Reporter landed a couple of TV freelance reporting gigs (was fab hair by AXE responsible?) and with the exception of today it's been a month since I've seen him in person (so is he into someone else or just his hair?). I have been catching him on TV (I swear, I'm NOT stalking him) and checking out his hair.
Verdict about his hair? Looking mighty fine and I give it an "A."
When reporting outside I've noticed his hair is staying in place when it's breezy and this past week we've had lots of breeze in the Sunshine State thanks to Hurricane Ida. His hair doesn't look like plastic but very much natural. And when I saw him today up close and in the flesh his hair looked fab thanks to AXE Hair.
So I definitely recommend to all guys out there to add AXE Hair products into your grooming repertoire to snag a girl or impress your girlfriend. And ladies, with the holidays around the corner, put a bit of AXE in his stocking. Your guy will look and smell fab.
So these are the AXE Hair products Mr. Reporter tried:
- AXE Just Clean Shampoo
- AXE Just Soft Conditioner
- AXE Clean-Cut Look Pomade
- AXE 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner (I gave this a try, can I say strong enough for a woman but made for a guy? Great masculine scent and left my hair extra soft.)
- AXE Spiked-Up Look Putty
- AXE Messy Look Paste
I hope to find another guy to try the above mentioned products and run my fingers through his locks. Any takers????
FTC Disclosure: These AXE Hair products were provided as gifts but I can make up my own mind when reviewing.
