Imagine my surprise this Thursday when I got up to find out the temperature was 28 degrees outside! Yes, this image shows ICE on the windshield.
Although being a Buffalo native, I did not have any type of ice scraper in the car. I thought about the things I could use to scrape off the ice (and things I shouldn't use, from past experience) but relied on the interior vents and friction from the windshield blades to melt the ice away.

last year i used the wiper method to remove snow and ice off of my windshield and i ended up breaking the motor that controls them!! so be careful!!
Oh my! Hopefully I won't have too many mornings where I have to worry about this.
We still have a bag of those little Sarasota ice scrapers - just theh right size for those small jobs - will send some along!
